Larodan rebrands to: ABITEC, Larodan Research Grade Lipids

For the past four years, both companies have synergistically operated, mutually benefitted, learned from each other, and optimally served customers. Due to this success and an exciting future to come, ABITEC Corporation in conjunction with Larodan are pleased to announce that Larodan will officially rebrand to: ABITEC, Larodan Research Grade Lipids and operate under this brand identity and a new logo (see below):

The updated branding completes Larodan’s integration into the wider ABITEC Corporation, consolidating ABITEC’s broad product and capabilities portfolio under one globally recognized and trusted brand to optimally serve our global customers.

Please note, there will be no changes to existing business operations, communications, products, product identifications, Larodan contacts, legal entities, current contracts, business arrangements or any other day to day business operations. Equally, there will be no changes to Larodan’s expert personnel who provide the custom chemistries to our customers. The only change will be to the look of the brand.

This rebrand reaffirms ABITEC’s commitment to providing our customers with the broadest applications and product portfolio available in the industry, as we strive to meet our customer’s requirements from bench to patient.

One of the most exciting developments arising from the synergism realized from ABITEC’s acquisition of Larodan is ABITEC Pharma Divisions’ Lipids for LNP therapeutics, combining the custom synthesis capabilities of Larodan with ABITEC’s manufacturing scale cGMP, in order to manufacture specialized lipids for lipid nanoparticle formulations employed in the delivery of nucleic acids and other advanced biopharmaceutical applications.  You can learn more about this business unit here.
